The Vilonia School District has the eighth highest GPA ranking in the state with an overall score of 3.38 according to the 2011 Arkansas Benchmark Test results. According to the Office for Education Policy on the University of Arkansas, the figures released were based on proficient/advanced on the Benchmark math exam and the literacy exam. Vilonia tied for the ranking with Salem, Greenwood, Lakeside B (in Central Arkansas) and Jackson County. Bentonville School District was ranked number one with an overall GPA of 3.45; Valley View ranked second with an overall GPA of 3.43
