Students ended the day Friday and kicked off spring break with the Vilonia High School Talent Showcase. Held in the gymnasium, the event provided students an opportunity to share their talents and entertain their peers by playing band instruments, singing, dancing and performing drama.
There was classic music, country songs, rock and roll and head banging. There was also dancing and comedy. The Drama Club performed a scene or two from their upcoming show “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood.” A comedy, the students, as well as teachers, laughed as the students wove a tale of Robin Hood and his band of Merrie Men.
A couple of the young men also used the event to ask girls to prom.
