Students at FMIS will be asking their friends and family to purchase Southern Living cookie dough. However, this year, they may implement a new selling strategy. A company representative instructed the students they may use their cellphones and text 10 people and ask them to purchase.
It was stressed that selling the cookie dough is not mandatory but “the school sure could use the money,” said Mr. Pennington, principal, to purchase things “you like.” All the money raised goes to the school, he added. There will also be prizes for students selling different levels.
The promotion continues until Sept. 20.
