The Vilonia Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the annual awards banquet to be held at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, at Friendship Baptist Church.
Jill Bonnema, Chamber CEO, said tickets are $30 each. Also, sponsorship opportunities are available, Bonnema said. For instance, a platinum level, costing $1,500 includes two reserved tables for 16; a year membership to VACC, a large logo in the program and the business logo on the banquet tickets. A $1,000 gold level sponsor will receive two reserved tables for 16, a year membership to VACC and a medium logo in program. A $550 level sponsorship will receive eight tickets, a one year membership in VACC and a small logo in program. A $300 bronze level sponsor receives a reserved table with eight tickets and a small logo in the program. A $250 table sponsor will receive eight tickets and listed in the program as a table sponsor.
Currently, the chamber is accepting nominations for several awards to be handing out that evening including: Citizen of the Year; Family of the Year; School Employee of the Year; Youth of the Year; Business of the Year and Non-Profit of the Year and City Employee of the Year. To submit a nomination, submit the name and why the person is deserving of the recognition. The deadline for submission is Jan. 14. Forms may be dropped off at First Security Bank, Centennial Bank, The Vilonia Area Chamber of Commerce located at the Vilonia City Hall or mailed to VACC, P.O. Box 278, Vilonia, Arkansas 72173.
