Two performances of "I Need a Vacation" set for tonight at FMIS

Some students at FMIS “Need a Vacation.”

Students shared songs, dance and antics regarding possible vacations, this morning, in two rehearsals of the show “I Need a Vacation.” Two performances, this evening, the first is at 5:30 p.m. and the second at 6:45 p.m.

Whether it's a relaxing fishing hole or thrilling to the rides at their favorite theme park, this 30-minute or so all-school revue explores all the possibilities for the vacations in one’s life.

A cardboard car is used for the trip, with the occupants dealing with Little Bobby, who drank water before the road trip, brings smiles from the audience. There is also a couple of solos as well as group singing. Also, the audience becomes involved as the students, nearing the end, make their way around for handshakes.
