Two VHS students' artwork recognized in art competition

Every year, the House of Representatives hosts the Congressional Art Competition for high school students across the country. Last night, we gathered at the Historic Arkansas Museum for a reception to celebrate the artistic talent of our Second Congressional District students who participated in this year's competition. The winning photo will be hung in the capitol in Washington DC. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to all those who participated for sharing with us your creativity.

2nd Place: Lauren McHenry. "Natural Balance," Vilonia High School
3rd Place: Karlena Fletcher. Argenta Drug CO," Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School
