High School Band

The Vilonia High School Marching Band participates at all Vilonia High School Football games, marches in the Faulkner County Fair Parade and plays for various school and community events including pep rallies, basketball games, Christmas parades and the ALS Benefit Walk at the Clinton Library. The band performs at marching contests in Arkansas and Texas and at the Region IX Marching Assessment at Russellville High School.

In the spring semesters the VHS Band is split into the Symphonic and Concert Bands. Last school year both bands received the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Associations Sweepstakes Award. This award is presented to school bands who earn a First Division rating in Marching Assessment, Concert Assessment and Sight-reading. This was the first year the Concert Band has received this award in school history.
