It is an honor to be allowed to serve as the Vilonia High School principal. I have worked in and around the Vilonia School District for 17 years with a variety of experiences from teaching and coaching to administration. It is my personal desire to continue to uphold the ideals and standards that have continued to set VHS apart from other schools in our great state. Shortly after beginning my career here in 1998, I knew that Vilonia would be a great place to start and a raise a family. With that being said, Vilonia is our home and my wife and I are proudly raising our children in this community and school district.
VHS is the home of the Eagles and accommodates grades 10-12. We take pride in the educational opportunities we offer our students and we are excited about their futures after high school. This school is staffed by 54 teachers and has an enrollment of about 750 students.
Many VHS students achieve academic and extracurricular success. We have an average of 35 honor graduates annually and our students are awarded scholarships averaging $2 million per year. Our music program is strong with more than 115 students in band and 25 members in choir. VHS is a member of the 5A West Athletic Conference. VHS also offers numerous clubs, organizations, and athletic programs to meet the varied interests of our students. These include Beta, DECA, Drama, FBLA, FCA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA, Journalism, Mu Alpha Theta, Quiz Bowl, student council, Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports, football, volleyball, swimming, tennis, golf, basketball, bowling, baseball, softball and soccer. We have and will continue to have high expectations to be competitive in our clubs, organizations and athletic programs. Please contact me if I may assist you or if you have any questions. I am proud to serve the students and teachers of Vilonia High School.
