Vilonia Schools' Parent Center has teamed up with Conway Adult Education Center (CAEC) to provide an opportunity for adults to work toward their General Equivalent Diploma (GED) in Vilonia. Classes are forming now and will be taught by CAEC's Liz McCoy. You may come by or call the Parent Center at 796-2050 to sign up or for further information.
High school graduates, college students and parents wishing to brush up on math and literacy skills may also contact the center for information about adult education classes. The Parent Center offers other classes for adults on topics of particular interest to parents. Parenting Skills, Nutrition on a Budget, Drug Education and Prevention and Internet Safety are just a few of the many FREE "fun” shops to be presented this school year. Adults may also learn basic computer skills and Internet surfing at the Parent Center and take advantage of our Lending Library.
We look forward to being of assistance to you!
