Arkansas Anti-Drug Abuse Logo and Slogan Student Contest - Scholarship Award

  • What is it?: A logo and slogan contest for a drug abuse prevention campaign.

  • Awards $500.00, recognition by the governor, state drug director, commissioner of education, attorney

                     general, and the director of the Division of Behavioral Health Services

  • Eligibility: All students 9th - 12th grades

  • Participants may enter individually or in teams of two.  Only one entry is allowed per individual or team.  Individual entrants may not also enter as a member of a team, and team members cannot be members of more than one team.  Each entry must include both a logo and a complementary slogan.  Submissions should be sent by e-mail to

    • no later than 6 p.m. March 4th.      

  • Come by the counselor’s office for more information about the guidelines and specifications.



UCA Privately Funded Scholarships

  • Last year the Foundation awarded 211 names scholarships to 503 students and this year the number of named scholarships has increased to 303.  

  • Scholarships are available for a majority of academic and extracurricular pursuits at UCA.  

  • The varied eligibility requirements allow students from a wide variety of backgrounds the opportunity to fund their education.

  • In order to apply for the scholarships students will need an assigned student ID number before creating an account in the Foundation’s online portal.  


Model United Nations Summer Camp at UCA

  • UCA is hosting the 1st Annual Arkansas and the World: Model United Nations Summer Camp for high school students (entering 9th through 12th grades) on July 24-29, 2016.  Participating students will reside in on-campus housing during the week of the summer camp.  All of the activities associated with the summer camp will also take place on UCA campus.  Additional information regarding the summer camp, including the online registration form, is available at:


ASU Beebe Advanced Technology and Allied Health Division Preview Night

  • There will be a Hands-On Preview Day on Tuesday, Feb. 16, and/or Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.,

                in the ATAH building on the campus of ASU-Beebe.  The ATAH division offers seven different programs

                that may be of interest to your students.  Attending our preview day will allow them the opportunity to

                get first-hand experience with a few of the skill sets you would learn in one of our programs.  Our

               preview day will also allow the students to participate in two or three different program demonstrations

               should you wish to view more than one.  For more information about any of these programs, click on the
