Prizes, pies in the face and potential career information object of annual event
The Price is Right College and Career Field was held, Friday, at the Vilonia High School with participants receiving potential vocational information and prizes as well as whipped cream in the face.
Introduced as the emcee of the event, Josh Hart was said to be able to make a Happy Meal cry. There were jokes and laughable moments. On a serious note, he told students they are 96 days away from earning a diploma. A high school drop-out, he said, typically earns less than $10,000 per year.
Representatives of various career fields and learning institutions as well as military branches, played along. They also spoke on stage and provided information at their booths.
