Talent show open to students and staff

****Sponsored by the Museum of Veterans in Vilonia, this is not a school sanctioned event but students and staff are organizing,  participating and welcome to enter or to help.  For more information contact VHS students Tommy Pate, Bailee Jo Thorn or Matt Harris. Who's Got Talent Show set for 5 p.m., Sept. 10, at the Museum of Veterans, 53 N. Mt. Olive in Vilonia. Deadline to enter is Sept. 5. Cost is $25 per stage act. The winner will receive $100 cash and entry fee back. Second runner up will receive $75 cash. Third place winner will receive $50.
Talent acts may be no longer than five minutes in length. No lip-synching is allowed. Type of performance: Vocal (solo, duet, ensemble) Instrumental (solo, duet, ensemble) Theater/drama (dramatic or comedy routine) Dance (tap, jazz, modern, ballet, hip hop) Variety (magic acts, ventriloquism acts etc.)
Singers using CDs must eliminate voices as in a karaoke. If you are using props, you must be in charge of your own props. However, our stage manager will place your props on stage during the show.
All proceeds go to benefit the Museum of Veterans and Military History in Vilonia and to the building of the Peace Chapel and Patriotic Pavilion, KIA Walkway and Gold Star Families Garden.
