2022-2023 Visitor Protocol Update

Visitor Protocol Update

The Vilonia School District recognizes parental and community involvement as essential to higher student achievement and the general goodwill between the district and those it serves. Therefore, the district shall strive to develop and maintain the capacity for meaningful and productive parental and community involvement that will result in

partnerships which are mutually beneficial to the school, students, parents, and the community.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

The term “parental involvement” means the participation of parents in regular, two-way, meaningful communication involving student academic learning and other school activities.

Parental involvement should support and not interrupt or impede the instructional school day.

Visitors must check-in with the main office and wear a visitor tag while on campus. It is the responsibility of all visitors to follow the guidelines/protocols in place for each building site. Please do not visit campuses if you are experiencing fever, flu/cold symptoms, etc. Thank you in advance for your support and partnership as we strive together to provide a high quality learning experience for each student.

This protocol is subject to change based on any required guidelines the district might be issued from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
