The Vilonia School District’s Transportation Department endeavors to work well with parents and students to ensure safe trips to and from our schools.  Parents with questions regarding bus schedule information should call the student’s school or the Transportation Department. In order for your student to be taken to an address other than his/her usual drop-off location, he/she MUST have a note which has been signed by a school office employee.  You may send the note to the school office with your child or telephone the office at least ½ hour before students are released for the day.

Rides to and from school on the school bus are an important part of your child’s day.  The bus driver is an important link between home and school.  VSD bus drivers are required to have a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License and undergo training and annual professional development as mandated by the Arkansas Division of Public School Academic and Facilities Transportation (ADPSAFT).  Our drivers are well-trained and dedicated to transporting our students safely.  Please help them by making sure your student understands and follows bus rules.
