Hey Eagles! We appreciate all of your patience with the recent issue preventing some users from logging into Rooms on the Vilonia School District App. If you are already set up, great news! VSD Family, we are excited to say that SCHOOL WILL BE IN SESSION on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. However, we will have a few modified bus routes. Please see below in case your bus route has been altered. We can’t wait to see our students and staff!
Due to road conditions the following changes have been made to bus routes.
Bus 25 will not go down Berry Gap. The bus will pick students up at the end of the road at approximately 6:45 AM.
Bus 25 will not go down West Pumping Station Road. The bus will pick students up at the end of the road at approximately 6:50 AM.
Bus 27 will pick students up at the Saltillo Volunteer Fire Department on Tower Rd. The bus will be leaving the fire station at 6:50 AM.
Bus 31 will pick up students that live on Old Hwy 5, Piney Trail and in the 7 Points Lake subdivision at the top of 7 Points Lake entrance at approximately 7:00 AM.
Bus 46 will not go down Bass Road or Dunn Hill Circle. The bus will pick the students up at the end of the road at approximately 6:50 AM.
The basketball games scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2026, will be rescheduled to a later date.
NO SCHOOL- JANUARY 30, 2026
Vilonia School District will be closed Friday, January, 30, 2026, due to road conditions. Unfortunately, not enough melting has occurred in the most rural parts of our district. We will assess the roads on Sunday afternoon/evening. Please continue to check our website and social media outlets for updates.
The VJHS and 7th grade games that were scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, will be rescheduled on a later date.
Vilonia School District will be closed Thursday, January, 29, 2026, due to impassable road conditions. Please continue to check our website and social media outlets for updates.

Due to hazardous road conditions from the recent winter storm, the Vilonia School District will be closed Monday and Tuesday, January 26th & 27th, 2026.
We will assess the road conditions again on Tuesday. Please continue to follow us for future updates.

WINTER WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT
At this time, there seems to be a convergence regarding the commencement of this winter weather event, with most forecasts indicating that the start to be Friday, late afternoon, or early evening. As such, we plan to have school on Friday(1/23/26). However, it is important that you be prepared if we need to dismiss school early. If that is to occur, we will notify you via all our communication avenues of any early dismissal times. We will continue to closely monitor the forecast not only for tomorrow but also for this weekend and into next week. Decisions will be made on a day-by-day basis and communicated to families as early as possible. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to keep our students and staff safe!

VSD Families, we are monitoring the potential winter weather and will take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of students and staff. Vilonia School District will notify families and staff of school closures, dismissals, or delays by mass text notification, District social media accounts, the District website, and mass email notification. If you are not receiving mass notifications, contact your student’s school office to update your phone number/email. We strongly encourage parents to have a plan in place in case of any closures/early dismissals. We thank you in advance and hope everyone remains safe and warm!
