Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals will also receive FREE lunch-but remember, a new application must be submitted each school year. Over the past several days, our staff came together for our annual Back to School Meetings—a time to connect, collaborate, and get inspired for the year ahead! We celebrated our shared mission, learned new ways to support our students, and left energized to make this the best school year yet.

As we begin the new school year, we want to ensure that our buses remain a safe and respectful environment for all students and drivers. To help support this goal, updated bus discipline consequences will go into effect starting the first day of school.
We believe that safety starts with responsibility. This update is designed to promote positive behavior, minimize distractions, and allow our drivers to focus fully on the road and the safety of every child on board.

We’re thrilled to announce that beginning this school year, Vilonia Middle School will officially be renamed Vilonia Junior High School!
As part of this transition, 9th grade students and teachers will now join the 7th and 8th grades in the junior high building. This move is part of our continued efforts to align our grade structures and better support student success during these pivotal years.
We are confident this change will bring more opportunities for collaboration, academic growth, and a stronger school community. We can’t wait to begin this new school year as Vilonia Junior High!

The Vilonia School District would like to introduce and welcome our new Vilonia High School Administration Team. Tammy Moore is the new Principal and was formerly the Assistant Principal at VHS. John Sweeney joins the VHS Admin Team as the Assistant Principal. Mr. Sweeney will continue his role as VSD Athletic Director. Buck Bing will continue his role as VHS Dean of Students. Jeff Adams will begin a new role as our ALE Administrator and Assistant Athletic Director. VHS is looking forward to a great year!
