🥉= Mrs. Sims landed in 3rd with her clogging into Christmas performance!
Thanks to our judges Drake Carden, Whitney Carden, and David Smith for their time and keen eye for tacky fashion! Mrs. Stokes for coordinating the music and Mr. Brewer for MCing the event!
A huge shoutout and applause to The Red Hanger Boutique for sponsoring! The gifts were amazing!

This morning, our students were greeted with extra Christmas cheer as some of our amazing parents dressed up as Buddy the Elf, Elf on the Shelf, and an adorable little reindeer to welcome everyone to school! 🎄🦌✨ Their smiles and holiday spirit brought so much joy and excitement to VPS. Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers for helping make our morning merry and bright!

What a great way to start a Friday! This morning, we were thrilled to have our amazing Vilonia High School Cheerleaders visit! They brought school spirit, greeting students with high fives and huge smiles as they arrived. Later, during our Feel Good Friday assembly, they shared a special message focused on Habit 4: Think Win Win! They taught about the importance of cooperation, looking for solutions that help everyone, and working together as a team. Thank you to our wonderful cheerleaders for inspiring students both with their spirit and their character!

CLUE IN TO SCHOOL BREAKFAST
National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. This special observance during the first week of March celebrates the national School Breakfast Program and the many ways it gives kids a great start every day!
Did you know children who eat breakfast are more likely to…
Reach higher levels of achievement in reading and math
Score higher on standardized tests
Have better concentration and memory
Be more alert and maintain a healthy weight
Have better attendance
Have fewer behavior problems

CELBRATE THIS WEEK FOR READ ACROSS AMERICA
March 2 is Read Across America Day, a day to celebrate our favorite activity. The day was established by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998 to help get kids excited about reading. The day occurs each year on the birthday of beloved children’s book author Dr. Seuss, so a perfect way to celebrate is to don a Seussian hat and read one his famous tales, like One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. On National Read Across America Day, students, teachers, parents, and community members around the nation come together to read books and celebrate the joy of reading — join us!
