It is time for the 5th Annual Story Book Character Pumpkin Gallery at VPS! Students can decorate a small pie pumpkin (smaller than a volleyball) to look like a storybook character. Be creative! You can use paint, felt, accessories, or whatever craft items to help make your pumpkin come to life! Do not poke holes or carve into the pumpkins so they will stay fresh. Pumpkins will be on display in the Library for all students to enjoy! Parents may also come by during Parent/Teacher Conferences to enjoy our gallery of storybook characters. We can't wait to see the creativity, imagination, and love of reading on display.

📚✨ The Book Fair is Coming! ✨📚 Get ready to discover new adventures, exciting stories, and books you’ll love! 📖❤️ Our school Book Fair is the perfect opportunity to find a new favorite book and build a love of reading. 🗓️ Book Fair: October 9-15, 2026 📍 Location: VPS Library Students will have the chance to shop during the school day. Parents and students will also have the opportunity to shop during Parent/Teacher Conferences. Don’t forget to stop by and choose a book, spark your imagination, and celebrate the joy of reading!

Parent Teacher Conferences are just around the corner! We look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s progress, celebrate their successes, and work together to support their continued growth.

Conferences will be scheduled in 15-minute increments. Letters with your teacher's unique Sign-Up Genius information were sent home on Monday, September 28. If you have difficulty signing up using the digital link, please contact the VPS office, and we will be happy to assist you.

VPS is excited to invite our special guests to join their students for a "Grand Picnic on the Playground!" Guests are welcome to bring a sack lunch and a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy lunch together outside. Cafeteria lunches are also available for purchase. It is sure to be a fun time filled with good food, great company, and special memories! Fliers are available in the VPS office with more information. We can't wait to see our students with their special guests at the Grand Picnic!
